Miele Marin Product Review

One of the more high-end models manufactured by Miele is the Miele Complete C3 Marin Canister Vacuum.

The Marin comes standard with Miele’s SEB236 Electro Premium Power Head. This electric power nozzle is designed to tackle medium to high-pile carpet and is the only Miele power head to offer an LED headlight for easy cleaning underneath couches and beds.  For smooth flooring, the Miele Marin comes armed with Miele’s SBB300-3 Parquet Twister Brush. This useful tool draws in airflow through tiny slits between the bristles to optimize suction and easily maneuvers around corners thanks to its 360-degree swivel capability.

The docking clip molded into the design of the neck allows the user to easily append this Miele attachment to the left side, right side, or rear of the canister. But that’s not all, the Miele Marin is special in this regard because it can sense the attachment in park and will proceed to power down the 1200 watt Vortex motor. This is perfect for unexpected interruptions such as a crying infant or an important phone call. When it’s time to resume vacuuming, simply lift up on the wand and the motor will spring back to life. This extraordinary feature is only shared with the Miele Complete C3 Brilliant and cannot be found on any other Miele vacuum.

Moving on to the control center of the Marin, this C3 vacuum boasts six options of digital suction control and also includes an automatic setting that adjusts air flow based on the surface you’re vacuuming. This not only ensures a quality clean but also increases energy-efficiency. To help users get an idea of the noise level per suction setting, eVacuumStore has a handy decibel reader. At a minimum, the Marin emits 49.5 decibels of noise, making way for whisper-quiet operation. At its peak, the Marin emits 63 decibels of noise which is comparable to some background music or an air conditioning unit at 100 ft.

Underneath the high-impact ABS polymer casing, you should find three on-board tools stored inside uniquely designed compartments. The Miele Complete C3 Marin Crevice Tool measures approximately 6 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide, easily picking up dirt and debris wedged in tight spaces. The Miele Complete C3 Marin Upholstery Tool comes equipped with red lint lifters for cleaning upholstery, while the Miele SSP10 Natural Bristle Dusting Brush swivels at 360-degrees to gently vacuum any surface.

Last but not least, Miele is very passionate about high-quality filtration and hygienic bagged vacuums. With that said, the Marin features one 4.76 quart, self-closing Miele GN Bag and one Miele SF-HA50 HEPA Air Clean Filter that removes 99.95% of particles down to 0.1 microns in size.
