Electrolux EL7083ASG UltraOne Signet

Making its debut in 2014, the Electrolux Ultra Collection is made up of three bagged canister vacuums and one lightweight Electrolux cordless vacuum. In this review, we took the EL7083ASG for a spin on our pile carpeting and smooth floor surfaces.

With a neon orange and lighting blue finish, the Electrolux El7083ASG Signet no doubt turns some heads. Square in the middle sits a silver rotary dial that morphs the airflow to the surface you’re vacuuming. The minimum setting works great on delicate drapes while the maximum setting is designed to agitate high-pile carpet. The Electrolux UltraOne El7083ASG Powerhead features a luminescent LED headlight that easily uncovers dirt and debris that remain hidden in dim spaces. Thanks to its quick-tap handle-release, this low-profile nozzle can lay flat to the floor at a moment’s notice. Dust bunnies cannot hide from its watchful eye!

Looking inside, the EL7083ASG is a bagged system that features long-lasting Electrolux S Bags that come equipped with a hygienic, self-closing collar that traps 99.97% of all lung-damaging allergens. When it’s time to replace, the bag change indicator will glow bright red.

Filtration is another big subject of conversation when we take stock of the interior components of a vacuum cleaner. Hinted by the ocean-colored plastic casing, the Electrolux H12 filter that comes standard with this machine is a washable and cost-effective component of bi-annual vacuum maintenance.
